"Niceapartment. Big and clean. Large terrace with great views over the village towards the sea. Apartment was easy to find and very central in Riomaggiore. Self check-in was easy and comms/instructions from staff were good. Overall was a good place to stay but expected a lot more given the price (e.g. coffee and water were not complimentary which was surprising given how expensive the room was per night. Pictures show plants/greenery around bathtub but this was just an empty trough of soil...

The rooms are set away from the reception area and you have to go down gravel steps. I’m pretty young and ok with it, but my 66-year-old mom struggled. So be prepared for that. "One of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The location is excellent; about 5 minutes walk from train station and very quiet! The lobby/lounge is like stepping back in time to classy 40’s. Excellent restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Our room was lovely; comfortable bed, sheets and fabulous towels. We also had a massage when we first arrived being we had been traveling prior to Genoa and I had an excellent lymphatic drainage massage. Fantastic! Trains took us to Rapello for a boat tour to less traveled Italian Riviera villages. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!"
