Something of a mixed bag. Good things: room recently renovated to reasonable standard, internet capable TV, fresh milk in the fridge, plenty of pillows and cushions, the Thai proprietor quite friendly once she knew one of us was Thai. Totara Lodge Motel
The room was comfortable and clean, though the bathroom could use some extra dust/cleaning. The kitchen area was clean, but when opened cupboards there was an odour of mildew. A bit noisy from other guests. Overall a comfortable stay.

Aotea Motor Lodge
Our room was at the back of the property and was spacious and quiet with undercover parking. We used the guest laundry and only paid a small amount for the dryer. . Would choose to stay here again. Fast food places are a short walk and nicer restaurants a short drive.

Rocky Mountain Chalets
We have stayed here a few times. Very handy to the main town, restaurant and cafes. Spacious, clean, modern and they have a few spas you can use. We will be back again!
