"Excellent and attentive host. Was there to check us in early and give us a history of the house. Had a delicious hot breakfast made for us the next day.
Our room had a harbor room and was so quiet. We played pool in the basement and used the bar and living room down there as well. All in all it was a great start and we hope to go back some day. "
"Had never stayed at Shelbourne before but it definitely has a special charm to it. It's updated, modern touch with classic old school vibes, you actually get a room key! Attic room was cozy and quiet, very restful nights sleep. Bed was comfortable and relaxing after long days. There was nobody at the front desk when I checked out early so kind of felt odd but not terribly unsafe. I have a regular place when traveling with pets and family but this was a sweet gem great for just me and my spouse. "
"Our beach cottage was one of about 10 right off the main road through Long Beach. The larger building where we checked in had a gift shop,bar and a restaurant with delicious breakfast offerings. We were also given pool privileges at the adrift hotel which was a 10 minute walk towards the beach. We didn’t end up going there but it was nice that it was an option. The staff was amazing, friendly and flexible. We were delayed getting back to our cottage for check out but they were understanding!

"Loved our stay here, newly renovated rooms. Right on the beach with ocean views. Beach is a short walk. Has no breakfast but has tons of dining options within 2 min walking distance. 10/10 would recommend it!"
"What I liked best was the ease of getting in and out of the parking lot. Although the front entrance is on a main road there is a rear entrance that was very easy to get in and out of. Also, the lobby was really nice. "

"This was a lovely place to stay in Astoria. The check in was fast and very friendly. A wonderful view of the water. The fireplace was ideal in the rainy day we arrived. They served salmon chowder in the lobby the Saturday we were there. What a fun treat! "
