You get what you pay for. Bed was comfy, room was spacious, toilet wasn’t clean enough.

Weekend Layover

Booked a room at this location for a one-night stop in Auburn on short notice. We found the hotel under renovation when we arrived. The room was okay, but upon entry to our room, the bathroom had an unflushed toilet, a used washcloth was on the counter, and trash was under the nightstand. Check-in and check-out were quick. The best feature in our room was the shower's water pressure. It's been quite a while since we've experienced that much pressure. We would rate this as a 6.5 out of 10 and might book here again. Hopefully the renovations will be completed soon and housekeeping will improve.

Property has been renovated and my room was very nice. All essentials worked great, comfy bed. Neighbors were extremely loud all hours of the night for most of the week. Seems to double as a dorm for a local college. But an incredible bang for the buck.

The room was clean for the most part. One towel left that appeared to have been used. Tub wasn't clean enough. The worst part was the smell of nicotine in the room - it may have just been a heavy smoker who'd been in there. I should've left after the 1st night. I regret not leaving at midnight the 2nd night - my lungs will take some time to recover. Out in the hallway, the swinging doors need to be cleaned daily. The main hallway running from the office smells awful from nicotine. The outside door in the back did not close and lock - poor security!

First the good: bed was comfortable, ac worked, shower was hot. But, the tub was pretty gross...dirty/gunk all along the molding, large water stains above, and loose fixtures. It looks like the flooring was recently replaced and signs of renovation/replacements were going on, so maybe this will be nicer in the future. It was fine for one night when you're trying to save $$$ especially during the summer where even low budget hotels are $200 .

Police in Lobby Taking Reports at Registration

Staff was nice & welcoming. Geographical location good----several reputable businesses nearby----but the condition of the hotel is not. Suspicious activity in parking lot throughout the night. Many longterm residents living there. No locks on external doors all around the building. Door to room barely closed or locked. Furniture & tub dated and grubby. Did not feel safe and surprised Hotels.com lists this place.

This was a convenient place for us to stay. It was close to sightseeing destinations. At check in the staff person offered a choice of a room on the first floor or the second floor. It was really nice to have that option this time.
