"This resort is a great alternative to Kalahari for families with kids under 7 or 8. The indoor waterpark is the perfect size for younger children and much less overwhelming. The accommodations were decent—nothing amazing, but completely fine for a family stay.The biggest downside was the food. The dining options inside the resort were incredibly limited, possibly due to the July 4th holiday weekend. To make matters worse, there wasn't much to eat outside the resort area either. "The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive."
