Großes schönes Zimmer mit Bad, Frühstück war alles da, Obst Dessert Müßli Joghutrt Schinken Käse Marmelade Honig. Unterkunft wurde täglich gereinigt.

Endroit tranquille au lac de Côme

Chambre avec salle de bains située au deuxième étage sans ascenseur correspondant parfaitement à ce qui est annoncé. Tout est bien propre. La chambre est spacieuse. Belle grande TV avec Netflix. Le déjeuner est préparé (self service) dans un local de l’autre côté du palier. Il peut être pris sur le balcon offrant une belle vue sur le lac. Tout ce qu’il faut est présent y compris les croissants. Parking dans la propriété sous toit mais la grille reste ouverte. Quelques restaurants sont à distance de marche. Suggestions d’amélioration : équiper l’une ou l’autre fenêtre d’un moustiquaire et placer un réfrigérateur permettant de mettre facilement autre chose que des bouteilles. Être un peu plus réactif aux appels, sms et mails.

Mixed results. Book only if you bring a car. Good: 1. the host was very nice and knowledgeable 2. Great view from breakfast terrace 3. Good breakfast 4. The room matched the photos Bad: 1. Very remote. Don’t come without your own transport (car/motorcycle). The train station is about 1km from the home and the schedule is limited. Taxis aren’t in Lierna, but can be ordered via phone (20-30 euro to Varenna) 2. It was noisy the night we stayed there. A generator was running nearby until midnight. A very loud dog barked a lot until late evening then again at 1am. A car alarm went off in the middle of the night. 3. The bathtub cannot be used for baths, only for showers. 4. The room is up 5 short flights of stairs so beware if you have heavy luggage 5. The host didn’t respond quickly. In the evening he took 30 minutes and in the morning 2-3 hours. We were only in the area 2 nights so we had one full day to see Varenna, Bellagio, and the lake. After arriving in the evening we determined that it was too remote, not what we expected. We requested checking out 1 day early. The host said yes but it was up to Expedia regarding the fee for the second night. I called Expedia and they said it was up to the host and he disallowed a refund. He held to the cancellation rules. That’s understandable and we didn’t mention the noise, which he has no control over. No refund, but we moved to Varenna in the morning and could not have been happier! Ciao!

12 minutes walking distance from stazione

Our stay was very nice. Our host was accomadating and kind. Every morning he provided a delicious spread for breakfast. He even gave us a ride to the train station 🚉. The location had a balcony with a gorgeous view where we enjoyed our daily coffee and breakfast. The rooms were clean there was AC! The location was 12 min walking distance from the train station and 5-7 minutes from the lake.

Lovely B&B, clean & spacious, newly decorated room

We spent 4 nights at Sibi in Lierna on 8th to 11th July 2018 - David the friendly owner, welcomed us to his lovely modern, clean and spacious B&B. He provided a map of the village and pointed out the restaurants and how to get the ferry from Varenna. Being about 5/6pm on our arrival, we walked down to the beach (5 mins downhill) by the lake (Spiaggia Di Grumbo) for a lively evening of fresh cooked pizza and prosecco! We had already sampled to local gelateria in the p.zza - best dark chocolate in the whole of Italy!! Breakfast was substantial, help yourself affair -consisting of variety of fresh fruit and croissant. Fresh coffee/tea, cereals, yogurts and cold meats and cheeses. We breakfasted on the balcony with a wonderful view overlooking Lake Como. David also provided wine for an extra charge, but we had bought our own and he was happy for us to keep it cool in the communal fridge. Our king-size bedroom was spacious and cool with a/c and small balcony. Comfy king-size bed, good range of modern bedroom furniture., although no mirror - a full length mirroe would have been handy to check outfits/make-up. Exclusive use of bathroom next door to the bedroom - large bath, with shower, cleaned daily. Also, hairdryer provided and bathing toiletries. After sampling the very good local restaurants, we sat out on the balcony admiring the stunning view and sunsets with our wine. David was a friendly, laid back and unobtrusive - a perfect B&B host. Defintely going back!

SiBi Lierna

David war sehr freundlich und hat unsere Verabredung pünktlich eingehalten. Die gesamten Räumlichkeiten waren sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Bed & Breakfast befindet sich im obersten Stock eines Mehrfamilienhauses. Das Gebäude scheint neu zu sein, hat aber den Nachteil sehr hellhörig zu sein. Sollten beide Zimmer gleichzeitig vermietet sein, würde man nachts häufiger geweckt durch die Geräusche der Wasserleitung, welche im anliegenden Bad benutzt wird . Es gibt nur ein Bad, welches sich zwei Parteien teilen müssen. Das Frühstück besteht ausschließlich aus Fertigprodukten. Es empfiehlt sich, eine eigene Marmelade mit zu nehmen, wenn man diese denn mag. Wir hatten Glück und waren die einzigen Gäste während unseres Aufenthaltes in Lierna.

visite au Lac de Côme

La température n'aidant pas,notre séjour au Lac de Côme c'est avéré un peu décevant. Le fait que la personne qui s'occupe du B&B habite à même le B&B avec un enfant en bas âge ( 4 à 5 ans) n'est vraiment pas l'idéal pour le séjour que nous avions en tête.Pour les reste la vue que nous avions sur le lac était superbe.

Enthousiast onthaal, vriendelijke gastheer. Onmiddellijk alle nodige info over omgeving, restos, enz.. We hadden wel de auto nodig omdat het plaatsje zelf niet zoveel te bieden had. Zeker een aanrader.
