"I was incredibly disappointed with my recent stay. On a day when the outside temperature hit 103°F, the air conditioning in my room completely failed to work. While staff did eventually bring up a fan, it did very little to cool the room down, making it nearly impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, a staff member came to inspect the unit and dismissively claimed it was "working," despite the room remaining stiflingly hot. "This is our go-to for travel in and out of Tours since it’s immediately adjacent to the TGV station. It’s always clean and the staff always pleasant. Everyone we have encountered also speaks pretty good English. This is not a fancy-pants hotel with luxe appointments, but always reliable. They have a parking lot and excellent little pates de fruits bonbons at the reception desk."
