"the grounds were well kept. The apt was clean and clean linen was available. But be sure to bring your own TP you get only one roll. The front door was sticking. there was a little problem starting the clothes washer. All else worked.
treadmill was broken. their workout space needed updating.
AC was in the living room only. None in the bedroom.. The AC had some impact in the bedroom.
Could see some mountain view."

"The property needs some looking after. Generally, it looks as it if needs maintenance and staff. The entrance to the stair way had bird poop all over the railings. And it stay there the entire trip ( 5 days). There was no elevator and I stayed on the top floor. My room was nice due to the space however, the other rooms I booked (3 additional) were okay but the beds were extremely small. There was no toilet tissue nor any complimentary towels like that. There was a tv that didn't work , Wi-Fi...

"Starlight Chalet is a very nice, well maintained classic building with beautiful landscaping. The view is wonderful, especially from upstairs and from the gazebo. The food was very good (but perhaps a bit expensive). The beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean and well-maintained. "The home was authentic Jamaican, gated and secure. I arrived late in the day with an emerging dental emergency. The next morning this required immediate attention. The Hostess Tamara walked with me to a nearby Dental Centre to be successfully treated. As I returned and departed for the International Airport, the host Shane taxied me to the airport for a flat $25 rate as advertised, (airport taxis were asking for $35-$45 for the same transport.)
The hosts were welcoming, attentive and gracious....

"The owners were so kind and helpful. This is THE hidden treasure of Kingston. Bob Marley beach is walking distance and the rooftop patio was breathtaking. The AC in the rooms was perfect to cool off after a hot day. This hotel also has a bar and the pool is cute and deep enough for the kids to jump in. The rooms are very traditional Jamaican style/decor and VERY clean. The wifi was strong and overall this was a fabulous likkle spot. Mi soon come back"

"This property offers free breakfast with your reservation.
We were told that if we wanted lunch or dinner, we had to order the day before. But, breakfast was not ordered in advance as it is included with the room rate.
The next day we were ready for breakfast, but the lady in charge of the restaurant had pretty much nothing to offer. Only one of us got a pair of eggs and toast, and the other one got spinach sautéed and toast."
