"Our stay was magical!! We were able to check in a little early and we were allowed to leave our car before check in so we could enjoy walking around and sight seeing. The location was perfect, it's close enough to walk to most of St Augustine's attractions, shops and restaurants. "Room and a hotel was very neat. Excellent location and veiw. Staff went above and beyond. Only complaint is lack of typical hotel amenities like ice machines and vending machines. Parking was inconvenient but location makes up for it."

Unlike the "brand name" lodgings that we've become accustomed to The Powder House was the antithesis of the sterile institutional cookie cutter banality.
