"Definitely needs refurbishing. Old fashioned keys, no room safe, window security very poor and an en-suite had basin that moved as you touched it. Balcony felt dirty and had another room’s outside light shining all night into my room. Some of the electric lights in my room did not work. The swimming pool was good with an amazing view (but seating area around it had little shade) even if noisey from traffic. Pool bar open until 7pm, but bar downstairs then not open. "Villa Angela is a very beautiful hotel and it sits high up above Taormina in the mountains with incredible views of Mount Etna, and the Harbour. Everything was very clean, well kept and luxurious. The restaurant was delicious and the staff extra helpful. The pool was amazing. Truly a five star experience!"

"Hotel Villa Sirina is een klein hotel met ontzettend aardig personeel. Het ontbijt wordt elke ochtend verzorgd door hele lieve medewerkers, die soms zelfs wat italiaans zingen in de keuken. Dit was heel mooi om te horen. Er hing een hele goede sfeer. Alle medewerkers waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook was de accomodatie erg schoon en het zwembad was erg rustig. "Hallo, ich war allein für eine Woche in diesem guten Hotel. Das Personal war super freundlich. Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Strand, was absolut toll ist. Die Zimmer haben Klimaanlage und sind wirklich sauber, sie wurden auch am Sonntag gereinigt. Das Frühstück war auch gut mit Brötchen, Aufschnitt, Rüherei, Müsli und Säften. Die Rezeption war immer anwesend und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Komme bestimmt wieder! Viele Grüße Claudia"

"Hotel Villa Paradiso was a beautiful and charming hotel set right on the edge of Taormina. It was very accessible to the park and nature reserve. It was a 4 minute walk to Corso Umberto and only 10 minutes to the amphitheater. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very polite and helpful."

"Everything is the hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The pool was very nice - the beach was beautiful. Overall, was an excellent choice. The staff was very accommodating. the restaurant was very good. The only concern is that our room was not very cool - air conditioning was not strong enough. Also, the rooms could use a dresser for clothing. I would stay there again."
