We LOVED our stay at Victorian By The Sea! Becky & Patrik were kind, welcoming, and so passionate about their wonderful inn. They were very generous too, leaving snacks, delicious baked goods, and an assortment of drinks for us to enjoy! The home feels like a cozy oasis, the rooms are beyond charming, and the overall vibe is peaceful. It’s very close to Camden - just a short drive from the vibrant wharf and bustling downtown. You can gaze at the stars in the evening, watch Artie the hummingbird freshen up while you have breakfast on the porch, and soak up the bright lawn with a calming view of the ocean. We will be coming back, for sure!

Caroline, the proprietress of the Victorian by the Sea, is a delightful hostess. The inn itself is lovely and beautifully maintained, with colorful, well-tended gardens. Our beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was also delicious, served in a beautiful room with a view of the sea.

What a beautiful location with wonderful views of the ocean from the porch and dining area! Our stay was made more memorable by the courtesy shown from our hostess Carolyn who gave us much information on her lovely home and it's idyllic setting. Séjour de 4 jours en couple. Nous recommandons fortement ce B&B. La maison est parfaitement bien tenue, les chambres ainsi que toutes les pièces sont très propres. Elle est aussi minutieusement décorée avec goût. La maison est magnifique. L'hôtesse et propriétaire, Caroline, est vraiment gentille, disponible et de bons conseils concernant les activités à faire dans la région. Le petit déjeuner était parfait. Les 2 premiers jours, la maison était pleine (6 chambres en tout). Nous avons eu droit à un buffet avec pain et muesli faits maison et bio. Yaourt, fruits, confiture, beurre, boissons chaudes et froides... Les 2 derniers jours, nous n'étions plus que 2 couples. Caroline nous a servi à table, comme dans un restaurant, des assiettes qu'elle avait elle-même cuisiné : omelette, coupe de yaourt/muesli/fruits frais, jambon sur muffin anglais, tartine avocat/tomate/bacon sur son pain maison et j'en passe. Ce B&B est une excellente découverte et si nous devons de nouveau séjourner dans la région, nous y retournerons sans aucune hésitation.

A beautiful property run by a lovely couple. The location is easy to find, close to both Camden and Lincolnville but tucked away enough to give a sense of privacy and solitude. Beautiful, bright rooms, multiple common areas to relax in, with cooked to order breakfast each morning. A lovely wraparound porch with views of the ocean. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful two-night stay here. The hosts are an incredibly warm and welcoming couple who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was very clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful ocean view. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing breakfast. Enjoying a delicious homemade breakfast outdoors while overlooking the water was the perfect way to start each day. Everything exceeded our expectations, and the hospitality was truly exceptional. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to our friends.

This was a wonderful little gem in which we enjoyed our weekend escape. The innkeepers were extremely helpful in offering suggestions and were so welcoming and accommodating. We were thrilled to learn upon our arrival that the house is the childhood home of a local celebrity. Knowing that history added so much more charm to the already delightful architectural details and decor. In addition, I appreciated that staying slightly outside of the town center provided a beautiful view with a luscious and cooling landscape. Truly can’t say enough about what a great stay we had and would highly recommend!

Right from the start Patrick and Becky made me welcome, went out of their way to help, and provided so many useful suggestions. I called the night before and asked about biking and hiking trails that met my capabilities. Patrick had a list waiting for me when I arrived. After a very interesting introduction to the history of the house, tour and explanation of what was available, Patrick carried my suitcase upstairs and I settled into the Sunrise Room. It is beautifully decorated, spacious with an inviting window seat with a partial view of the ocean, comfy bed and spotless bathroom. Patrick and Becky provide so many thoughtful touches: a pair of homemade chocolates nestled in a pretty box made by Becky’s mom, a huge vinyl collection and record player that guests are encouraged to use, board games for rainy days, snacks and drinks, a fire set to take away the chill of early morning, and most importantly their big smiles and obvious joy of running the B&B in a way that makes their guests comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was delicious! I chose a small dish yogurt, fresh fruit, granola and honey, followed by scrumptious blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup. The yogurt was a work of art. Guests also get to choose whether they want to eat out on the porch or in the sunny breakfast room. Both have the same wonderful view of the backyard and ocean in the distance. It truly was one of the best B&B experiences I have had! I highly recommend it. Thank you Patrick and Becky!
