"We fell in love with this charming property and would definitely stay again. We knew there was no food, so we brought in dinner, breakfast and snacks. The shared kitchen was enormous, with several large refrigerators, and all appliances, pans, utensils, condiments, etc. that could be needed. The lodge was very comfortable, with 24-hour beverages, games, comfy chairs for reading or chatting, tables and everything needed for a fun evening. The cabins themselves had comfortable beds and everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The 2 windows in my room had a clear view of Mount Mitchell from one, and a forest view with Monet-like qualities (due to the rain) from the other--fun place to wake up! Everyone was friendly and helpful. All in all, we really had a terrific time."

"The place was clean and the room was nice. The bathroom was extremely small and you had to work around the door and the toilet to get in and out. The shower was nice though. The walkways were not in very good shape which took away from the aesthetics. Also, they texted and emailed way too much to basically say the same thing each time. Overall it was a decent place but maybe a little less texts and emails?"
