"We used the breakfast bar and the restaurant the first day. Both were convenient to have, but easy to replace once we explored our nearby options. The Metro was close and we used the shuttle. However leave yourself plenty of time as the shuttle can get backed up during busy hours. We would definitely use the Melia again."

"Extremely disappointed for having experienced a few unpleasant moments. Our stay included 2 rooms, both next to each other. The 4 of us were abruptly awaken by loud drilling coming from the floor above us, and lasting approx. 45 min. My sister and brother in law immediately called reception and they were told "they are repairing and need to drill". My brother-in-law asked to speak with the manager and he was told he would get a call by 9AM. It didn't happen!. He was asked if we all had not been...

"Great location. The staff do the minimum to make you feel welcome/comfortable. The rooms are adequate (at best) although I would say the beds are extremely uncomfortable. I would not stay there again."

"A spectacular hotel close to the airport in Lisbon. Very convenient for early morning flights. Breakfast bar available from 0300 hrs for early departures. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff."

"Well the ambience was excellent, but they could be little more humane, because they stick to the check in time strictly, i have been to other hotels were the staff understanding the tiredness of the journey though it's well before the check in time are courteous and allow us to stay. If the hotel management works on this it will be great"
