"Loved our stay at the historic Court House, beautifully restored as the Abner Inn. Service was excellent, dinner was equally fantastic, service was super. Staying in the beautiful village of Litchfield is always a special treat for my wife and I as we love stopping in the Village Pub for a drink and to taking a drive to Lake Waramaug and the beautiful New Preston village. We will be back to the Abner in a few weeks!"

"My stay was excellent. My room was on the 2nd floor right side, next to the window...big enough for a family of 3. This was a solo/business trip for me and the room has an excellent dining room and meeting/living room with a very nice view if you love green. I slept like a baby. Breakfast was fantastic-freakin-tastic--drop a $20 on the table for the fam. Will stay there whenever I go back up th Limerock Park. The drive to and from Limerock is a dream if u know what u doin...and ya gotta go to the pub up the road...the locals are super freaking awesome!!! "

"Beautiful, beautiful hotel and outstanding customer service and attention to detail. Not only was my room designed impeccably and clean, but there were free waters, snacks and freshly baked cookies available upon arrival. Their breakfast was outstanding (and free) and they had coffee, beverages and snacks available at all times of day - something almost all other hotels will charge you for. This is hospitality and going the extra mile to make customers happy. Love, love, loved my stay, thank you!"

"The service was amazing.. I was sitting in the lobby and a worker walked by and asked if I wanted coffee or tea. We were there for a wedding and everything was wonderful. The only negative comment would be some rooms could use an upgrade. "
