"We were greeted warmly at reception and upon questioning about restaurants nearby, a few were recommended and we chose one. We were impressed with the room cleanliness. Upon returning for the evening, we sat outside for a while in front of the fire pit, a nice amenity. The breakfast was also superb for its content, and the service person was very attentive. The other staff in the hallways were also cordial. We will return if we're in the area again."

"We LOVED our 4 day stay at Fort Knox Inn! Great location, Great Views, Friendly Staff, comfortable Beds, Great water pressure! We Loved visiting the Fort, The Bridge and walking path by the Inn on our down day. The Bathroom could use a vent, but older building so may not be doable. Not a deal breaker for us. Also, since there is no Continental Breakfast a Kurig Machine or other FREE coffee machine in the lobby in the mornings would be wonderful since the ones in the room are way too small. Or if...

"Magical stay at a historic property. LOVED reading books on the verandah, evening wine by the fire pit, meeting people from all over the world, and the excellent breakfast. The staff was kind and very welcoming. Wish we'd stayed longer!"

"This was a beautiful property and such a fun place to stay! Every detail was well thought out and absolutely adorable. We had a great time feeling like we were at "camp". "Beautiful hotel on Main Street Camden. They offer an offsite parking for $15 a night. Pretty cheap compared to Portland that asked for $45 valet! They offer a very good complimentary breakfast as well. They even had udis GF bagels (husband has celiac disease so that was a nice find!). The room was super cozy and beds very comfortable. The only thing it was missing was a hairdryer. I’m sure they would have provided one if I asked. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful quaint hotel, they definitely took the time to decorate and add amenities to the rooms. We stayed in the Paris room and loved it. The hotel is in walking distance to downtown Camden, so much to do. I highly recommend staying there."

"The place really feels like Maine! We would stay again. Laundry wasn’t available when we were there. The lady at the desk said there was a laundromat “next door”. I carried our laundry a long, long way before I found the laundromat. Check in with the girl at night was pleasant. A great grocery store is close by. Subway is about 50 yards away."
