"The room was tiny with the basics and modern amenities.
We were put in room 202 directly across from the elevator. The sink was outside the bathroom. The one ceiling light over the sink was dim yellow light and off-center so it was difficult to see yourself clearly when getting ready. The mirror over the sink was the only mirror in the room… no full length mirror. So just hope for the best when you get dressed and leave.
The bathroom had no ventilation and there were water and rust marks on the cover where I imagine a dehumidifier/fan should have been. So just imagine when you do number 2 or shower the only way to ventilate the room is to leave the bathroom door open and open the one window otherwise the room smells it is damp from humidity.
Our bed was firm to hard and the pillows were small and provided no neck support even when stacked on top of each other. Sleep was painful and minimal.
Air conditioning is mounted on the wall next to the bed and blows directly on you. There’s no way to escape that unless you turn it off or sit at the foot of the bed, or go into the bathroom, or stand behind the entrance door which is next to the sink.
There is no guest parking so you park on the street where parking is limited.
At 174 a night (including tax) I guess we were paying for the neighborhood, as Little Italy is a quaint lovely area with great dining and charming people.
Hopefully the other rooms are better. It was our first time here so maybe just unlucky."
