"We had a fantastic stay at the Oglethorpe Lodge! The location is unbeatable—right on Bay Street in the heart of Savannah. It's the perfect base for exploring the historic district, with everything just steps away. One of the showers in our unit was out of order during our stay, but the team at Oglethorpe Lodge communicated this up front and went above and beyond to make it right. "I never leave reviews but felt this one definitely deserved it. Traveled to many places and can say my favorite to date. Everything was just as described if not better, and knowing the lot was under 24 hour surveillance I didn’t have to worry about anything other than enjoying time with the family. Have nothing negative to say about the overall experience. "

"The location of this unit is the absolute best in the complex. Watching the sun rise over the ocean while sipping coffee from the balcony was priceless. It was a quick walk to the boardwalk to get to the ocean, and the heated outdoor pool is in this building. The indoor pool, workout area, and hot tub were a quick walk down a couple buildings, but very easy to get to. The unit had a fully stocked kitchen. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return some day. "
