"This is such a great place to stay. Surrounding area & property are safe, esp for single travelers. The restaurant serves good food & drinks. Rooms are very comfortable & clean. The staff is super helpful. It's really the only place I stay when in town."

"This stay was to allow for us to be close to the 1/2 marathon. The hotel is beautiful, a very unique, older hotel. The check in was seamless and the valets were amazing! The room was small, but laid out well and the ac was perfect for the hot weather. It was a pleasure to have a fridge in the room. I did find morning desk staff to be less friendly than the wonderful afternoon person who checked us in, however, they were efficient. If we get back to San Jose, would definitely stay again."
