"What a lovely find in Pembroke! John is a fantastic host with plenty of interesting stories, and the property has a wonderful family history that adds to its charm. "The cottage is lovely and comfortable and well equipped for a family of 4. The small holding that it was on is located in a nice little village with a great pub a couple of doors away. The children loved having the alpacas close by and would go and visit them every morning. Beds were comfortable, the shower was nice and powerful. We would definitely stop again if we were visiting the local area. "

"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

"Very pretty looking coach house placed in the centre of town with its own parking.Extremely clean rooms. Good cooked breakfast to start day. Prefect place to stay while visiting the area."

"Nothing but issues. No check-in info provided - had to call 10 times to finally get through to anyone to access my room. Issues with receipts, wrong info provided. Still awaiting refund for security deposit, nobody answers the phone! "

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Unfortunately we went during a heat wave, and the old building is not well equipped for the heat (neither is our own home; not the hotel’s fault). When we asked for fans for our room the staff provided them - the only thing I’d change is having them readily available instead of having to ask. The fans did not provide much relief but they got us through the very warm night. The staff were friendly and helpful."
