"Room was in decent condition but being on the front of the building was quite noisy especially with the bells ringing every 15 minutes. Would have been nice if there was actually a member of staff around on check out as the whole bar and kitchen were just left wide open for anyone to help themselves to whatever they wanted"

"We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. "What a gem of a small, cosy hotel! I booked a small double, but we were upgraded to a suite with a sea view, as it was my daughters birthday. Beautifully clean, with white fluffy towels, toiletries, tea, coffee and a fridge! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay more comfortable....very friendly, helpful, kind and very generous. "Room was spacious with lots of amenities, but was not clean with damp smell. Toilet seats need changing. Water from both shower sprinkles with no force. Apart from these issues, hotel is located in a quiet area with good views from room. "

Digital tv ..only terrestrial channels on a tv so old the colours do not work so a whole evening without television. Then the disgusting fact they say soundproof rooms !!! I was in the more expensive seaview room. The sea can be seen from 3/4 if a way down a street but the room is above the hotel pub.
