"Nice friendly reception staff, lovely clean room with a safe, iron and iron board, refreshments available. Pool, jacuzzi and sauna very well kept, lovely bar service nice and friendly and food was lovely. Comfy bed and soft pillows. We had a lovely full English breakfast in the morning where you could help yourself to whatever you wanted, we would definitely stay here again, nice and relaxing overnight stay."

"Beware if you are thinking about booking their rooms.
Telephone attendant have no idea when their reception open/closes.
They told us the checkin is open until 12AM and when we reach at 11:30, there was no one - they locked and went home.
Their emergency number is another joke, don’t expect anyone will help you in case of emergency at night.
We cancelled our trip and went back."

"The hotel itself is magnificent, sitting on the hillside overlooking the Welsh and English border. From the moment you step in you know you are inside a great hotel and full of history. The team where attentive and ensured we were looked after at check in and throughout.
The upgrade was reasonably priced and well worth it having full access to the Signature areas.
The signature lounge was impressive and with stunning views.
Thank you all for a very enjoyable stay."

"My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up."
