"Such a unique property. We stayed in the room that Queen Victoria stayed in, and slept in the original bed, they also have the original 7 foot bathtub - best bath ever. The staff were so attentive."

"Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. "

"Pet-friendly BUT you need to know that the guesthouse is just a small part of a large caravan and camping site. There’s also a field of horses. Guesthouse clients with dogs are only allowed in rooms accessible from the outside; we weren’t allowed inside the building. So my room opened directly onto the access road, with all the mud and noise that comes from all the traffic, walkers, and horses that passed in front of the door and small window. "The breakfast was good, both choice and quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It appears that they welcome dogs in some rooms. My room was clean and the bed was comfy. There wasn't any parking at the premises, but I was able to find an on street space relatively nearby."

"The room was clean. There was plenty of space. Only thing is the TV signal was not working but this could have been easily due to the massive thunderstorm we were having at the time which was far more beautiful to watch. I would definitely stay here again. Definitely value for money."
