"The staff were nice enough. The room had a lovely view of the loch. No soaps in the toilet and while clean, it was in need of updating. The beds were very uncomfortable."

The photos didn’t match the room when booking online. When asking about an upgrade or change I was asked to pay €90 more, then when I said too much he said €40 cash. "The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also good. There isn’t much else near the hotel other than the adjacent restaurant. We ordered pizza from the Red Shed (excellent) and brought it tot our room. The actual town is a bit of a walk away (we had already walked a section of the WHW that day so that wasn’t great for us). I would recommend that hikers that need supplies get off the bus at Ballachulish by the coop and then walk back to the hotel)."

"We loved our stay! Right on the peninsula and right on the way for our road trip! Staff was friendly, but I couldn’t control the thermostat and it was 26 C when we walked in and the shower curtain was missing so everything got soaked. Other than that, truly lovely stay!"
