Isles Of Glencoe Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The room was spacious and had a great view. The bar featured local beers and spirits which was great to try."

The Garrison
8/10 Good
"This place was perfect and location was great to get around the area. Rooms were clean and extra touches in the rooms were nice. My only complaint is that we stayed in the newly built second building. Although it was quiet and rooms were tidy…we were travelling with my in-laws who are seniors. We were on the third floor floor and it is all stairs to get up there. It is not accessible any other way and that is an important consideration when booking your stay. The staff did not show us to our rooms and said go outside the main building walk to the side and then behind the building so that too could have been very helpful."

Ben Nevis Hotel & Leisure Club
8/10 Good
"The hotel was located very conveniently for my business trip. Staff were helpful and the breakfast had a variety of options and the meal in the bar was lovely. Hotel is in need of updating as looking tired throughout."

Alexandra Hotel
2/10 Terrible
"Initial impressions, tired run down, dirty worn out, in need of serious refurbishment. The surprise was this hotel has a 3 star AA rating with a 2026 certificate displayed. The last time this hotel was painted was sometime in the fifties. I have video of torn frayed drapes threadbare room carpet, black mold around shower, peeling paint and strong smelling room air freshener. Windows that wouldn’t close, ground in dirt. Mattresses that felt 60 years old. I wondered whether anyone received any professional training or qualifications. I complained about the windows not closing and to her credit gave me another room without question, however this room had an overpowering room deodorizer in it and wondered what they were trying to cover up. Booking this hotel was a mistake. The sign on the front of the hotel said it all, Lexandr a Otel several letters missing from the hotel name, suggesting neglect. I’m not the first to mention this."

Ballachulish Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Stunning view and staff was extremely helpful."

The Caledonian Hotel
4/10 Poor
"Not as depicted in photos. The front staff were wonderful, but the property is in need of dire repair and cleaning. We had 4 rooms in our party, in different ‘classes’ and they were all very dirty and damaged. There is no sound proofing and the bed springs are protruding. If it were priced as a budget hotel and it was clean, fair enough. But liquid drips, boogers, hairs, etc on walls, surfaces and bathrooms could be easily remedied. My cabby summed it perfectly on my departure - ‘My mom worked there 25 years ago, quit because it was dilapidated, and they haven’t fixed it up since.’ She did note most of the hotels of similar age in this area are of similar state."

Morar Hotel
2/10 Terrible
"Single room looked out on to an air conditioning unit outside on the roof and into a house on other side of road. Kept curtains shut as nothing to look at. Watermarks in the ceiling. Shower riser fell on me in the shower. Staff unengaging in conversation. No pleasantries. No welcome. Female solo traveller and engaging, friendly customer service is everything when you visit a hotel. On check out no one answered the bell on the desk. I had to find a waiter and let them know I left my key on the desk. Disinterested in conversation and only said ok."

The Lodge on the Loch by OYO
4/10 Poor
"The room was extremely cramped and very poorly maintained, including but not limited to a bad leak through the ceiling from the shower in the room above into our shower stall. Although the staff were pleasant and the location was convenient I would not recommend it and would never return to stay. "
