"Despite a hiccup with my initial room allocation the manager upgraded our room to one more acceptable. The staff were very friendly and helpful in particular the kitchen staff who accommodated my gluten free diet requirements."

"We traveled with other family, so we had two rooms. Check in was very rough. Once we finally found the correct building and desk, the two people at check-in were quite rude. When we got to the rooms, one of the room was lovely, lots of nice amenities. The other room had no amenities (no shampoo, conditioner, robes, etc); it also had a broken shower. When the desk was called, no one answered. Breakfast was a similar situation; the first morning, they were out of pastries, sourdough bread,...

"On the main road through Aviemore . Not noisy and enough parking off road. Room number one is very small with just enough room to manoeuvre around double bed. Small bathroom with shower. Bathroom all in black with small spotlights. This room was very disappointing as it was so small. Only a kettle and sink, no toaster. Not enough room for two adults and two dogs. There were two chairs at the bottom of the bed to watch TV both in poor condition. Photos of the property do not reflect how small...

"easy to find close to everything. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived, with lovely little additions such as milk, wine, and biscuits. The drive was gritted which helped so much as we arrived during the heavy snow in November. Great communication from start to finish and always there if anything was needed. Would highly recommend."

"The Craiglynne Hotel has a lovely exterior and attractive grounds, which gave us a positive first impression. Unfortunately, the inside of the hotel did not live up to that impression. The property felt tired and not particularly well maintained. My room had extremely squeaky floors, and I could clearly hear movement from neighboring rooms, making it difficult to relax. My mother-in-law’s room had a broken shower door, and after we left, she mentioned that her bed sheets appeared dirty....

"Ein kleines Hotel was von außen absolut nicht zum verweilen einlädt. Von innen wird es erstmal nicht besser, aber das Zimmer war für eine nacht ok. Die Dusche hat absolut keinen Druck und keinen einfachen Duschkopf. Es gibt auch keinen Fön, den braucht man aber auch nicht, weil Haare waschen unmöglich ist."
