The Royal Sonesta San Juan

"The royal sonesta had one of the best gyms I've ever experienced traveling. I love the proximity to the beach, the pool and bar areas were nice and well maintained. Breakfast buffet was enjoyable. The beach view room was worth it for us. We enjoyed some pleasant sunrises. You will not enjoy the sunset if you're on the beach side of the hotel. The hotel is very close to the airport and pretty central - getting to the other places via Uber was relatively inexpensive. Oh and a special shout out to the concierge service team. They were always helpful, and will provide great recommendations on how to enjoy PR like a true local."

"My family and I had a great stay at Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve. The staff was so friendly, they upgraded us to a beautiful Villa, and not to mention all the food at every single restaurant (even poolside bar & room service) was delicious. Already planning our next visit back!"

"I was hesitant in staying at this property due to reviews that I found on other platforms. Expedia has only good reviews, but when you look deeper, they are pretty bad. Our stay was excellent! We arrived hours before check in and were able to store luggage and use the pool and beach facilities while waiting. It was the perfect start of a relaxing morning to our vacation. The lobby and main areas of hotel are exacerbated as pictured. The only difference was the bathroom mirrors were very old and “peeling”. But that is it. Our room had an amazing ocean view, comfortable beds, and clean. Great location by many restaurants and easy to navigate the area. The concierge Caesar- I need to give a special shout out to- he was such a welcoming gentleman. He is friendly and full of fun character, we felt so welcomed by his presence and was the highlight of our stay."
