I preferred walking the paths at the top of the mountain having ridden to those trail heads. "Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. We especially appreciated the breakfast staff member. He was consistently friendly and warm, and the chefs for both breakfast and dinner—everything was exceptional, including a homemade blue cheese dressing that was outstanding. The breakfast potatoes were absolutely delicious. I was also very grateful for the front desk team’s help on 6/17. "First, the location is great. Steps to the beach and steps to the park. Great for a quick stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While the room amenities are slim, the restaurant was great. Everything was very clean. "

"This is a cute little property off the beaten path. Lots of tico places to eat in the area but you need a car. We don’t recommend the seafood place across the highway though. Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade bread and condiments. The laminated note in the room about not getting sand in the beach towels was a little odd!"
