"Room was a mess it was so filthy there was rat poop on the bed not once but twice in our 5 day stay. I lost electricity twice because the refrigerator and the plug-in kettle were on the same outlet. They say they have Internet access, but the only Internet that they provide is an unstable connection which will not allow most people to log on if their computer requires a secure connection.I spent half my vacation waiting for them to come and fix my room. "Absolutely beautiful. Admittedly, I was very surprised to see that the toilet and shower in the villa was actually outside, but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The private beach is heavenly, the beach side bar and food was excellent. You're a bit far to the south, but that only puts you closer to the southern pier, and nothing is very far away in the first place - not a very big island to start with. All in all, couldn't be happier with this place."

"We really enjoyed our time at Faye Orchid Resort and can definitely recommend staying there! The rooms are tucked away from the main road, and surrounded by beautiful and peaceful scenery. The pool is in the middle with lots of seating around to enjoy. Close to many restaurants and easy to walk near by to find something great to eat. The room was clean, the wifi worked well, the aircon was great. I would definitely come back to stay again!"
