Long Bay is located at the northern end of the East Coast Bays on Auckland's North Shore.
Flanked by green hillsides and trees, Long Bay's stunning stretch of golden sand offers fun and relaxation for the whole family. Spread a blanket for a picnic, or spread out in the sun. It's safe for swimming and with plenty of room to throw a ball, fly a kite, or build a mega sandcastle the children will love it too.

Long Bay Beach - The coastline is occupied by the Long Bay Regional Park, and the shoreline is in Long Bay-Okura Marine Reserve, which opened in 1995. The beach is sandy and swimming is safe. It offers forest walks and scenic cliffs. This beach has low tide water. Smaller beaches to the north, accessible except at high tide, are used by nudists.
