"Small Art Deco building in downtown Long Beach which is surprisingly dog-friendly. We stayed here two days & nights and got great service. Room choice was "cosy full" and was certainly clean and cosy. Plenty of paid parking in alley behind hotel. Ground floor rooms are accessible. Non-smoking and dog-friendly. Not to mention a friendly pet supply store right next door for any necessary items. Although we did not get any direct answers to email questions (automated confirmations were fine), all of our requests were taken care of before we arrived. Long Beach in general is very LGBTQ-friendly. We had no issues walking around, day or night. I would choose this hotel again in a heartbeat. Great shared kitchen and dining table. Bike to the beach or walk to the beautiful new Convention Center. Clean and friendly neighborhood."

"Hands down one of the best overall hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time. We stayed one night before our cruise and will definitely stay again whenever we are in the area. It’s large and there are several food and drink options in the lobby. The rooms were modern, clean and spacious. There’s a big mall directly across the street as well as some restaurants. The best part where the staff, especially the overnight staff who were extremely kind and helpful when we arrived at 1am. I was a little hesitant to book because I thought it was pricey for a 1 night stay- especially considering we arrived very late at night but this was a time when we felt we got what we paid for. 100/10"

"The property needs some attention. One wall mounted hook in the bathroom was about to fall out of the wall. The toilet paper dispenser was also about to fall off the wall. Generally, though the property was in good condition."

"Check in process was easy. Love how everything was no more than a 10-15 min walk including the beach. Ran the Long Beach marathon so it was quick walk to and from. Which was great because we avoided all the chaos of traffic."
