A nice basic place to stay close to the strip

Check in was smooth and parking is gated along with the entire hotel so you feel nice and safe. The strip wasn’t terrible, and this spot is right down the street which was convenient. Nice shower and sink just not many options to hang towels. No ac wasn’t an issue with windows open and the fan is more than enough to cool the room. For the price and location it’s a solid deal.

Funky, but clean

The people were very friendly. The hotel seemed a little seedy but clean. We didn't sleep well because someone in the room above us was walking around all night. There was no air conditioning, but they did have a fan. I thought that I had a double room, with 2 beds, but instead there was just a double bed. It is a good thing I was with a good friend. The location was right off Hollywood Blvd and close to the Hollywood Bowl, which is what we wanted. It's claim to fame is that it is the hotel where Richard Gere rescued Julia Roberts at the end of the movie.

Don’t stay here…

Got a call from the hotel the afternoon of my check in that the air conditioning was not working and that I could cancel with Hotels.com/Expedia if I want. I made a new reservation and contacted Hotels.com via chat for a refund. They would only refund for 2 out of 3 days because the hotel listing allegedly had no a/c listed. It does not have it when looking on the app at least. Still confused about why they would call me to say it was out, but Hotels.com refused to help any more.

Great location and clean space

The space itself was comfortable, renovated and clean. The lobby smelled heavily of curry but they cleaned and mopped the space regularly. The room was well kept and clean, the staff members were friendly. My only complaint (not really a complaint for me personally) is that there is no elevator and I was on the top (3rd) floor. Great space for someone spending a few days on the stars.

BUYER BEWARE! I booked this only for the location and when I arrived, they said they could not locate my reservation, the guy behind the counter was not helpful, and over 1 month later I am still disputing the charges to my card. I ended up sleeping on my my friend’s sofa. Highly unrecommended!
