"I had a good stay overall, but there was one serious issue. Around 2 a.m., someone opened my door and tried to enter my room. I reported this to the receptionist, but was told there are no CCTV cameras in the common areas. For the safety of guests, I strongly recommend installing security cameras."

"The house is dirty, smells humid, dust everywhere, no hot water after 1 minute of shower, no a/c, everything is old and outdated, sheets and towels were stained, it’s in the middle of nowhere in the jungle. We found a scorpion in the bedroom. The only good thing is who manages de property, that service is amazing and will help you get everything organized and scheduled, but the actual property is not at all how it seems in the photos. I definitely do not recommend staying here or would stay...

"Hotel Atitlan was absolutely breathtaking!! We stayed for two nights and had an amazing time. The food was delicious and everyone had great hospitality! Everyone who worked there was beyond kind. This is one of the few hotels that exceeded our expectations, can’t wait to come back! The only complaints we have is that the WiFi disconnects often especially in the rooms. And the lonely parrot locked away in the dining room. Other than that, everything was perfect!"
