Nice thick towels, modern bathroom and comfy bed. Each Christmas when I visit my brother's family in Austin I try different hotels. This was the best in the past 7 years!I'm on a budget and was surprised by how nice East Austin Hotel was for the money. It's unassuming from the street but once inside the view down from the rooms to the pool is lovely. They're working on bringing their rooftop bar back into service. Once they do, it looks like an amazing place to hang out with a grand view of Austin. "
