Irish bar food of very basic standard.
Inedible. Blue Terrace excellent - but a very restrictive menu for a 5 day stay.
Rooms refurbished without an eye for detail . Some dated and unreliable plumbing. Water completely off one evening without warning. Drain smells .
Poor bathroom lighting. Noise from room above etc
Impressive public areas but lots of maintenance issues .
Not a 5 or even a 4 star hotel ."

"A good hotel in a nice location. We paid extra for a sea view room and it was worth the extra payment. We didn’t eat in the hotel as it was very quiet with few people about, even though it was a Friday evening in April. The car park looked quite tight for parking but there was plenty of on street parking nearby. The hotel was also in a very peaceful location but only a ten minute walk into the port of Mazzaron."

"Air conditioning didn't work. Internet didn't work. Woke up to bugs on the bed and all over the desk. Got another room for the next day. Air conditioning worked great, still no internet and still bugs. Nowhere near as many but 1 bug is too many. Nice lobby and pool don't do it for me if I have bugs in my room."

"The main staff/manager Jesos is a man with many hats
1) he checked us in
2)he showed us in to breakfast , made our tea/coffee every day, showed us where everything was
3) sorted us out with a new key card when ours stopped working
4) helped my husband with technical issues on his ipad twice
5) checked us out
Basically he was on hand throughout our 3 night stay, he is very welcoming, friendly, helpful
We look forward to returning to tbe hotel later in tbe year

"The location was superb! The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful & efficient.
The room was spotless, the beds very comfortable, & the linen very clean.
The seaview from the balcony was amazing.
We enjoyed a lovely tapas supper & the service very good.
The hotel overall is a little tired but the views & the friendly staff made our stay very memorable."
