"Grand Vista Hotel in Simi Valley Ca was a very clean and well run property. The staff was great and I enjoyed every amenity!"

"Room was clean and modernish. Toilet was a bit on the older side. Toilet had a leak, phone did not work. Breakfast wasn’t it. Texture of everything was as if it was reheated from prior day. Eggs were not cooked throughly, and the 2 men in working kept starring as if we weren’t supposed to be there."

"The initial room we were offered smelled strongly of mildew. We went back to the front desk and requested another room, which was provided, and when we opened that one it was exactly the same. We notified the front desk we were going to have to seek another hotel, and left. When we subsequently requested a refund through Expedia, the hotel declined saying that we had not let them know we were leaving. Do not recommend. Initial experience was bad, and even given the opportunity make it good,...

"Worst stay I ever had in Simi valley ,dirty place ,they lie about breakfast it’s just coffee and gas station muffins the room and hall way smelled like weed and my rooms bed sheets and blankets was smelling like people slept in them few times .No Amenities or sitting area in the Lobby .They also wound check you in before 3pm and the altitudes are horrible.Worst night ever couldn’t wait to check out next morning."

"Room and properly clean a well maintained. Location of hotel was in a safe area in walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Easy access to main freeways. I was there for a business related trip and the hotel was 10 minutes from my meeting."

"This is a hotel/ motel that I believe is in the process of being remodeled. You can see the bathroom showers have been updated but everything else has been through the ringer. Was it affordable? Yes. Was it pretty? No. This place gets the job done for bare bones basics, but I do hope they turn it around soon with the upgrades."
