"Good place for pitstop on a road trip"

"Property and room were very clean, staff was very pleasant, breakfast was sufficient with waffles, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy and more. We are a repeat customer and will return."

"It's great that the place is pet-friendly. We didn't try the breakfast, but the nightly fresh-baked cookies were appreciated. We encountered bugs in the room, and we were told it was roly-poly season. The front desk offered to move us, but since we had already settled in, we chose not to bother with the move."

"Stairs into the property are very long and steep. Some travelers may find this unacceptable. Room was nice and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and air conditioner noise was welcome as trains go by nearby. A few things could have made the experience better: a sponge and paper towels in the kitchen area, a bigger shelf in the bathroom and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. "The ironing board was broken. The TV said to auto scan. I could not get it to work. I called the front desk and they said they would come up and fix it. They never did. I just streamed stuff on the computer. The water could have hotter in the couch."

"I had the room in the rear of the building. I guess that since I paid the Expedia price, this was the “budget” room? I had the room with a stain underneath the mattress… not sure if that’s a drink or human fluid of some kind. The room smelled terrible… it smelled really bad. I was so tired from long distance driving that I did not want to bother. I had high expectations based on the reviews but I am not at all impressed."

"Staff was very unprofessional and tried to give us a different room than the one that was booked. Then tried to charge extra. Thankfully, expedia called them and took care of it."

"Was a very accommodative , especially Alan when talking to him about my husband who had a stroke and my father in law who is 88yrs old, I needed something easy access for them on the first floor and rooms close together . He came through amazingly. It truly made out trip to Tennessee from Florida to spend fathers day with three generations of Dads the most memorable time with our son and family!!! Thank you again I will recommend your establishment to anyone :)"

"To start with the sign is covered by bushes and can't be read. Room had strange smell. Drawers barely opened and smelled of mothballs. No toiletries. Breakfast was cereal or toast. Cereal looked like it was there for years. Front desk staff were very abrupt."

"Room was clean. But we have kids and was not told beforehand the pool would be closed. We only booked because there was a pool and had plan on spending the afternoon with the kids by the pool. That wined up having to stay in the room. Was very upset and deserve a credit of so sort."
