"A charming and old hotel on beautiful grounds and walkable to Glendalough Cathedral. Hotel needs serious updates and maintenance. Broken coffee machines, fire extinguishers hanging on by a thread to the wall. Staff (other than a bartender) were not impressive and food was meh. Staff is worked hard."

"The room was okay, it had a bad smell (I think it was the carpet) but we got used to it. There was only bath towels, no hand towels. The view was amazing. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. We did not spend a lot of time in the hotel, and more in the surrounding area, so that smell did not take the score down too low :)"

A special thank you to the incredibly friendly and helpful lady at the reception (unfortunately, I missed your name). I had accidentally booked a single room instead of one for two adults and one child, and she handled my mistake in such a calm, kind, and uncomplicated way that a potentially stressful situation became completely easy.
