We loved everything about The Mason!! Lovely place, nicely decorated, great breakfast pastries & coffee! Shower water pressure could have been better but not complaining. We will definitely be back!!!
A extra bit of information is that there are 2 locations ( we were not aware of that ).
Beautifully decorated property. Room was clean and very comfortable. Not quite enough shower gel for 2 adults for a 2 night stay. However, the bathroom was gorgeous and large.
Owner was accessible and very helpful. Highly recommend this gem!
The Mason Boutique Hotel stands out for its beautiful preservation of historic charm mixed with absolute modern luxury! If you stay here, book the Fair Suite. It’s room is incredibly spacious, light, and airy, thanks to the beautiful historic windows and original pine ceilings and exposed brick.
Impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and so relaxing.
Everyone was very courteous and helpful from the time I made the reservation until the time I checked out.
The location was perfect and gave 'Chic' vibes--a true Boutique.
We enjoyed our stay in the Harrington Suite and the only complaint was of paint chipping in some areas.
Love to stay here but this particular room (Louis Winston) was quite noisy with street traffic. Every time a car or truck went down the street the lights next to the bed would shake making a difficult nights sleep. The room was wonderful aside from that!! Breakfast, bed comfort, ease of check-in were all fabulous!
Will definitely stay again at the hotel, just in a different room😊
This place is a gem! I was so enthralled at the history of the old building and the things the owners have done to incorporate the historical features into the hotel motif! So tastefully decorated and nicely appointed with attention to detail! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
I traveled with my family. We all had our own rooms with a gathering area where we could visit. The hotel furnishes light snacks and coffee. It was my second time to stay there and will probably be back next time there is a graduation!
Arrived very late in the evening but was previously provided instructions for my room and entry. The grounds are beautiful. A well-manicured landscape sitting in the heart of a picturesque small southern town. The room was inviting as I entered. Lamps on, air conditioning running at a pleasant temperature. The room and bathroom were clean and well-equipped. Luxurious towels and toiletries available. I felt safe and comfortable as if I was visiting and staying with family in their home. I had a very early travel morning the next day so sleep was my only objective for my stay that evening. But I plan to go back and enjoy the house and the town. I would recommend to my friends and family.
Really good experience. Rooms are spacious and high ceilings. Staff very accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage and it was in our room when returned. The housekeeping was spotless. Nice assortment of pastries and yogurt as well as salty snacks. Decorations and furnishings were tasteful.
I didn't know there are 2 sitesof the hotel nor was I provided codes for the doors. We stayed in the St Charles Street location which has been beautifully renovated and decorated. However, there was no information about the stairs leading to the room. I am disBled
