"As low end as it gets on the cape"

"Extremely thin walls & heard every step from floor above. Old air conditioning sounds like a jet taking off with occasional bangs as it shuts on & off. Upon arrival, we found the sheets so dirty that there was still a lipstick stain on 1 bed & remnants of a string cheese wrapper in the other. Looking at numerous other reviews, they clearly have a pattern of not changing sheets between customers. The floors also looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite a long time. We didn’t feel comfortable...

"This was the perfect choice for us. We knew we would be driving to different areas of Cape Cod and day tripping to Martha’s Vineyard, so quaint/walkable wasn’t the priority. The staff was super welcoming and helpful, room was immaculate, spacious, comfortable bed, balcony for fresh air…great food on site which we took to go to relax in the room after a long day traversing MV. It’s too new for tons of reviews, but don’t let that stop you, grab it while you can!"

"We stayed at Daniel Webster Inn for our 50th wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful stay. My favorite is the beautiful gardens. Our service from Brian made eating in the dining room so special. Everyone we encountered from the staff were friendly and welcoming. The dinners we had were delicious. Our room 27 was beautiful and clean. I loved our little balcony overlooking the trees. We are hoping to visit again sometime in the fall. Marianne Johnson"

"Great property! Staff at checkin was awesome. Didn’t get to eat breakfast because of Fishing trip leaving so early. Staff offered to pack breakfast items the night before for us. Room and bathroom were clean as well. And the hotel is close walking distance to Main Ave/St where a lot of your restaurants are located. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"The carpet had not been vacuumed from previous guests or perhaps not is some days. All feather pillows, which I am allergic to, there was no option for bedding preferences when booking. No extras like waters in room, iron, extra linens. Carpet, couch & desk chair fabric and well used. Beautiful view of Canal but the open patio below our window hosted a baseball team, and late night dads drinking, loud rock music and talking until after midnight. "I arrived at the property and was immediately disappointed. I didn't check -in. No elevator to the 2nd floor. I had several bags. The property looked run down. I was changing property due to a negative experience with another hotel. Sooooo disappointing because you cannot get a refund through Expedia. I will no longer use Expedia and other on-line booking outlets. Just cannot rely on the hotel ratings."

"Pro: Front desk staffs and lifeguards are great. Cons: The room isn’t clean! We found a lollipop stick on top of the bed frame (it shows housekeeper isn’t carefully checking) and a tiny spider. Housekeeper took our used towels but didn’t replace new ones. Didn’t refill water bottles, didn’t refill bathroom essentials! We are kinda disappointed in the water park, not much to do except lazy river. There is only 1 pool, pretty small."
