"Hotel 1868 was in a perfect location for our weekend visiting Tufts. It is across the street from the T, and walking distance to Davis Square and the campus. There were coffee shops nearby for an easy breakfast. The room was small, but very efficiently planned. We had everything we needed, including drawers under the bed so we could unpack our suitcases. The bed was comfortable, there was coffee in the room, everything was clean - just a great experience overall!"

"The location of the hotel, the amenities, and the room met my expectations except one. When I arrived Friday afternoon I noticed that the curtains and blinds, which are only movable by iPad or wall switches, were not working. I notified the front desk and they said they'd get it fixed so I could have some privacy and darken the room. When I came back that night, however, they were not fixed and I saw no sign any attempt had been made. And, yes dear reader, I tried to move them by hand. With the...

"The hotel was fine, good bed, nice bathroom etc. However, the "valet" service sucked at best. When we pulled 4 employees were just standing around all of them just scrolling through their phones. When we got out of the car I asked,is this the valet, one guy said yeah I'll get you a cart but never offered to help with our luggage. Then they said parking was $75 a night, then stood there waiting for a tip. Considering the cost of the hotel and the parking you would think you could get a little...
