"Location is perfect. Room is small, especially the bathroom. Service is bad at the restaurant, we have to wait 25-30minutes for the tea/coffee during breakfast. On the second day we ended up finishing our quick breakfast without having the tea/coffee as we are leaving/checking out soon."
"My room had character and a great view of the Abbey. It did get warm and it was not obvious how to open the windows. The building is old and that is reflected in the rooms and the multi-flight access to anything. Back door to the ramparts was a bonus. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was filling with breads, crepes, fruits, eggs, cheese and meats. Stay was pleasant."
"The rooms are not as pictured. The beach is across the street. The hotel is broken into sections. There is not a fitness center or a pool. The buffet breakfast is 17 Euros per person."
"I liked the location and the surroundings, the chief Concierge's superior efficiency in arranging difficult reservations at the full racecourse restaurant, however not the lack of pragmatisme to solve a minor issue in the overall scheme of things: I had two bookings , 1 day followed by 3 days consecutively, the 4 days warranting free breakfasts - the hotel refused on the basis that this did not represent a four day reservation!!?
Sunday dinner was disgusting, four Veal dishes were overgrilled...
"Basic but clean and cosy. Would have preferred porcelain cups for my hot drink... paper cups made it rather challenging.
Bit of a hassle getting out of the gated area in the morning, a long line of cars and campervans all held up because of issues with the exit console that seemed to plague everybody. My third attempt finally succeeded. Breakfast was great food. Friendly and helpful staff."
