"This place is a good stay for late night finds after travelling from the air port. All though the room isn’t a 5 star hotel, does the job for needing a place to sleep. You have to carry bags up the stairs and the bathroom layout is strange. Bed wasn’t the best but did the job. The staff a friendly which was the positive about this stay. "

"Lanson Place in Melbourne is an extremely nice hotel. I was pleasantly surprised on all accounts. The hotel lobby/lounge is beautifully designed, the rooms are also very well appointed with beautiful views and the gym is especially nice!"

"Extra $29 to park! Very quiet area we parked overnight on the street. Had breakfast at cafe accross the road $25 for 2. Reception very hard to understand staff- language barrier. Woken up at 4 in the morning to garbage truck reversing beeper in driveway next to our room! We arrived late 11pm, please consider travellers( if you know garbage gets collected Wednesday morning, please select room on the other side) common courtesy I would think!!!!"

"This is a great hotel, close to everything, clean and quiet. I had a room overlooking the side street and it was really quiet. The room was a good size with a lovely bathroom (I loved the Hunter bathroom supplies).The staff on departure were friendly and helpful. Checkin was efficient and hassle free. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends."

"I've been staying here few times and it's always been clean and the staff being friendly and this time they gave me room no. 1 which is very convenient for me and my wife as we're elderly. The only thing missing was toothbrush otherwise everything else was provided. I've stayed at other accommodation in the area but this is the best ."
