Convenient to travel to Halifax. Bathroom door needed work as the lock stuck with the guest inside the room. Contacted the front desk to advise - nothing was done about it.

Staff refused to assist me in working with Expedia to cancel one night of our stay, even though I notified both the hotel and Expedia well before the deadline. Staff was rude to our group for no apparent reason.

Hi Brent, Sorry to hear about not having any help with Expedia cancelation. I am not sure of the details regarding this, but most times, in order to cancel, you do have to go through Expedia themselves. If you would like to contact me with more information, I would love to look more into this.

The Truro Comfort Inn was very clean, quiet, and warm. The staff were friendly and the complimentary breakfast was great. There was also many options for food nearby including restaurants, fast food, and grocery stores.

Hot continental breakfast is basic (scrambled eggs, sausage, fried potatoes, cereals, toast, waffles, toast, tea and coffee) but good. The room we had was clean with a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. Large flat screen TV with a fair choice of channels provided by a dated menu system. Wi-Fi signal was adequate but not secure.

Pet-friendly property. Walk-in shower is nice. Beds are comfortable. Clean. Nice seats/table outside the door. Very tiny fridge. Limited TV channels. Laundry facilities are listed on website, but not available. Made a 7:30am appointment with “manager”(?) so I could do laundry, but he did not show up. Left a note, but got no response.
