"This was a very nice hotel. Very spacious room and clean. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Being in the downtown area it is right across the street from restaurants and Crypto Arena if you're interested in a Basketball or Hockey Game. My husband and I were visiting California for the very first time and taking a cruise out of Long Beach so opted for the convenience of walking since we didn't have a vehicle but did utilize Lyft from the airport, for a Paramount tour we did across town,...

"This hotel is cute, but the area that it is in is extremely loud. Also, it’s on the border of Skid Row and the Fashion district. If you’re not familiar with LA, these parts can sometimes be a bit rough. The staff was never really available via phone from the room so we had to walk down to the lobby often when we needed things. Also, when you call the hotel, no one picks up. Keep in mind that this is an older building that has been renovated, so it has quirks."

"The hotel is in a really good location however only having one steamer and it being at the front desk was a little frustrating. Also our thermostat did not work in our room. No advertisement for the $200 credit card hold was very upsetting to find out about on day of check in. With that said the staff was pleasant and helpful and the hotel was very clean. "
