Great spot in Lucca, very easy to walk to everything. We had some of the best food of our trip in Lucca! The owner was very helpful in getting us a taxi to the property after we had dropped off our rental car. The only small negative is it can be quite noisy at night due to the bar next door, but I guess that is the trade off for staying in the centre of town. We would stay here again!

The unit was clean and spacious. Central location in the historical district. Near bus. stops and the train station. Many shops and restaurants nearby. The only complaints that we have is that the bathroom sink drain was very slow and it took about 3 days and a few reminders to fix it. That was very inconvenient. Also, no hand towels or dish towels. The first few days the towels were locked up too.

Nice and clean flat in center of Lucca

Lovely apartment in the heart of Lucca. In historical town there is no elevators in houses so be prepared to climb few steps to reach the flat. However, it's something what anyone with healthy legs and back can do. Instructions to get inside the building were clear and simple. There is a fans on the bedroom roof . Apartment itself is nice, clean and recently furnished. If someone is afraid about noice coming inside from out, I would say it's nothing extraordinary comparing to similar cities in Europe.

NO AIR CON

NO AIR CONDITIONING Posting in caps so no one else misses this like we did. The apartment was torturously hot and did not cool down, ever. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms, but they did next to nothing. I kept the blinds and windows closed during the day and the fans running but there is no cross breeze at all. Lucca was over 35° for the 3 days we were there and so was the apartment. Sleep was impossible and we ended up sleeping elsewhere for 2 of the 3 nights. There is also a small bar directly below the bedroom that was super noisy and it was so hot we had to have the window open for any whisper of a breeze. It honestly felt criminal to not have aircon in the summer. Apartment was clean and laid out well. There is a kitchen but there are zero staple supplies (salt, oil, sugar) so it wasn’t useful for a short stay other than the fridge to keep drinks cold.
