Hotel Luzernerhof

"Checking went well and the process for parking your car at a nearby parkade was confirmed ( and there is a discount through the hotel ) The room was good , only issue for us was they were warm nights so with no A/C we had the windows open and there was a lot of external noise , especially on the Saturday night , with cars racing noisily down a nearby street. Just something to be aware of, obviously beyond the hotels control . The staff were very helpful and pleasant and while there are no bar fridges in the rooms, they did store my items in the restaurant fridge for me as requested ."

"A wonderful location fifteen minutes walk from the centre of the town. Far enough away to avoid the bustle of the night life, but close enough to join in if you want. Definitely get a lake view room."

"This place was amazing! Very convenient and a short walk from the train but the location was great. The room was comfortable and the complimentary water bottles were our favorite part! We loved everything about this hotel and would absolutely stay there again!"

"Beautiful hotel with outstanding views with balcony on the river with views of the Old Chapel bridge, Mt Pilatus and the alps. Great customer service and close walking proximity to restaurants, Lake Lucerne, train station and old town. Nice restaurant and bar in hotel as well. Definitely will stay here again."

"Great stay at Chateau Guetsch. We loved the view overlooking Lucerne -- very accessible with the funicular. Easy to get to train station with bus, though we often walked. Room was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Loved our deck. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great."

"The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room, saying it was for my birthday - which was lovely. We mentioned that the tower fan in the room was a bit noisy and immediately it was happily replaced with a silent and very efficient fan. A well positioned hotel in the centre of Luzern. Moderately priced for Switzerland. And they gave us a very enjoyable stay throughout."
