"This hotel is 100 years-old. It is a comfortable, quaint, calm place to stay. The employees were fantastic at helping us. Parts of the hotel have an old-world elegance. But you have to be prepared for a room that is very basic and not what you would find in a modern corporate facility. Loved the calm atmosphere, would be happy to stay there again."

"This is a truly unique hotel. It was beautifully, renovated, spacious, super clean, and very convenient for exploring Marshall. The restaurant was good, and it was very relaxing sitting on the deck and listening to the river. The unit was nicely equipped. The only difficulty we had was getting a hold of anyone for questions when we arrived. The phone number in the binder did not answer our call nor reply to text message. I did see a very helpful employee cleaning the next day who answered...

"The Inn and Mount Michell Cabin was a great getaway for our family! We enjoyed the breakfast every morning around 9 and met some very nice people every morning! We enjoyed the quail, chickens -esp Bender, the rooster and the two goats on our morning walk back from breakfast! A beautiful place To get away!"

Surprise $100 deposit for me but to their credit, it is on the website just look in the "fees" section The lady was explaining to me that I would lose my deposit if they found a stain in the room, and i'm like, that's very petty. "Exceptionally clean room. Kind, helpful staff. Nice, hilltop view from the rocking chair on the front porch. Loved the vintage touches left in the updates. Reminds us of traveling when we were kids. Would definitely stay again. Glad to support a local business. Convenient to everything."
