Excellent breakfast choices and responsive staff. I lost my phone and the staff helped me communicate with someone who found it. The room had a magnificent view. We had dinner in the ristorante and the meal was creative and delicious. The staff are friendly and shared interesting information.

A very good place to stay for a few days in Lugano, right in front of the beautiful lake and in the best area of the city for exploring on foot. The staff were extremely kind, and the room was very comfortable, except for the bathtub, whose base is curved rather than flat, making it somewhat unsafe ...

Palace Hotel
The Palace Hotel had great staff and the breakfast was wonderful. The only unusual aspect was you had to go downstairs to iron your clothes but that seems to be the norm in Italian hotels .
