We stay here several times a year, as we usually love it here and have for years. Its the only place in Bridgewater we consider when visiting. This past trip was disheartening though. We understood that they're undergoing mantainence, and 27 South wasnt available, which wasnt great but understandable. They said the pool was just refilled and refreshed, but when we went in there, the water was freezing cold (unlike usual, where its slightly heated) and for some reason the water was murky to the point where you couldnt see the bottom. I'd thought it would be clear for just being cleaned, assuming maybe it was chemicals that perhaps didnt dissolve because the water wasnt heated up yet. The other complaint I had was that I wanted to pay with cash, and upon checkin tried to pay, but was told to pay after my stay. When I tried to use cash after my stay, they told me rhey had already charged my card and the o ly was I could do case was at checkin. I advised i had tried that and now, if i wanted to do cash, they would have to refund my card, which may take a few days. Construction started promptly around 8am which again is understandable, just a little annoying. Breakfast of course not the usual offering due to construction. Hoping the next stay will be better.
