"Vi brugte hotellet som base for en safari i Yala National Park. Stedet er familiedrevet og med en meget hjælpsom og omsorgsfuld ejerinde. Vores værelse havde udsigt over rismarkerne, hvor der altid var aktivitet, både af mennesker, dyr og fugle. Stedet er rustikt men med alle nødvendige faciliteter i god stand. Dejlig morgenmad, og vi kan endog anbefale stedets lokale aftensmad."

"Cabanas located in trees - you are literally sleeping outside. Different experience, but nice. Be aware that animals may enter, and the river is very close by, so maybe not so good for people who needs complete silence to sleep. Staff very helpful and nice!"

"Ett bra och fungerade litet hotel nära Udawalewe nationalpark. De fixade ihop hela vår jeep safari med en utmärkt chaufför med kort varsel. Fick en egen jeep som körde runt oss utan stress och under en hel eftermiddag i nationalparken till ett bra pris. Såg många elefanter, fåglar, krokodiler, apor, vattenbuffel, hjort, mm Trevlig personal som ville vårt bästa och som tom. fixade fram några öl genom att skick bud med Tuk-tuk. Suverän service. Enkla men fungerande rum. Bra pool som var härlig...

"My favorite stay in Sri Lanka! Janik, his mum and the friends that help them run Amba Kola are all so kind, warm and welcoming. They make you feel like one of the family! "The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended."
